Meet the Team

The Chesterfield FC Community Trust has an enthusiastic and dedicated team. The team is supported by coaches and volunteers who help with the delivery of our activities and running the HUB facilities.

What do you enjoy about working for the Trust? Working with and helping a wide range of different aged people.

When did you join? 2016 (volunteer), 2017 (full-time)

A bit about yourself: I enjoy running, exercising, playing basketball and spending time with my family.

What do you enjoy about working for the Trust? Helping people and making a difference to those who may be struggling. My favourite programme is Senior Spireites, helping the older generation get out and enjoy themselves.

When did you join? September 2021

A bit about yourself: I enjoy jogging & walking, spending time with my wife and watching the football.

What do you enjoy about working for the Trust?  I enjoy the Kicks sessions and giving the opportunity for young people to engage in sport. Improving development through educational workshops.

When did you join? June 2021, also volunteered from 2019.

Sessions Ran:  PL Kicks, two roller-skating sessions, girls football, youth engagement, pan-dance, Friday night football. A range of different workshops/courses at town centre hub. 

A bit about yourself:I enjoy playing cricket and watching Derby County.

Robert Stevenson

What do you enjoy about working for the Trust?  Being able to make an impact within people’s lives. Working with other people who have the same aims and values and seeing children progress from school settings into other football pathways.

When did you join?  I volunteered from the age of 16 in 2012 on matchdays, then worked as a coach and also at Chester’s Den before taking up my current role.

Sessions Ran: School Sports Partnership, teaching PE lessons within schools. Running tournament package in partnership with SHAPE. Football tournaments across the primary ages.

A bit about yourself:I’m a big advocate for running. I’m also a chesterfield fan so I enjoy volunteering on matchdays.

What do you enjoy about working for the Trust?  I enjoy engaging with the children in the schools and soccer camps.

A bit about yourself: I enjoy watching Chesterfield. I coach a young grassroots team in my own time as well.

What do you enjoy about working for the Trust? I enjoy engaging with the participants that come to the lunchtime and after school PE sessions as well as the reading sessions.

When did you join? Volunteered since 2016.

Sessions Ran: Goalkeeper sessions at the Spireites Soccer School.

A bit about yourself: I enjoy playing football and I also coach a grassroots girl’s team as well as goalkeepers.
